Alipay also lets you create and verify accounts on Taobao, 1688, Weidian, and other platforms, making it super handy if you want to dive into the rabbit hole of what China has to offer.

Link Alipay to a bank card with a CNY-¥ account (e.g. Revolut/Wise) saving up to 10% on conversion fees compared to other payment methods like Apple Pay.
